En route to La Paz:  There's a lake crossing with no bridge between Copacabana and La Paz, Bolivia.  Passengers take small ferries across, while their bus is transported by rickety barge.  In our case, the barge's motor died and we watched as our bus (with our luggage!) drifted helplessly across the lake, until an empty ferry came to the rescue.  It pushed the bus to shore.
At the witches' market in La Paz.
The Moon Valley:  Sherry and Kerri (our friend in La Paz) just outside the city.  La Paz is built in a lake bottom with many interesting rock formations.
A peaceful spot in the Pongo valley, about an hour from La Paz.
