Belize - Caye Caulker

A water taxi that does the one hour run between Belize City and the tiny island of Caye Caulker. (pronounced Key Caulker)

The main drag of Caye Caulker with many tour operators and restaurants. including a Rasta Pasta. Despite the island's tiny size, there are at least two internet cafes.

The view from Rasta Pasta, one of our favorite breakfast spots.

The view from our guest house. The breezy covered dock is a wonderful place to
lounge during the hottest part of the day!

Our guest house, "Seaview." We had a lovely cottage behind the white main building.

Our snorkel guide, Glen, feeding nurse sharks. They stuck around as long as fish was being served!

Our guide Glen with his buddy, Sting Ray! Somehow they wouldn't flap
quite so eagerly into Chris' arms. Hmm.... must use more fish next time.

A day trip took us to the Mayan ruins of Altun Ha. Several other sites
like this one make for a nice change from water activities.
